The Non-Domestic Microgen Grant (NDMG) provides financial support to businesses, farms, schools, and non-profit organisations in Ireland to install solar PV panels, helping to reduce electricity costs and promote sustainability. This grant is available for solar PV systems up to a maximum of 1000kWp.

To apply, first, select a registered SEAI Non-Domestic Microgen company and secure a formal contract. After receiving your grant offer, your installer must obtain ESB Networks’ approval before proceeding with the installation. Ensure that all necessary documentation is submitted to SEAI promptly to receive your grant within 4 to 6 weeks. The TAMS 3 Solar Capital Investment Scheme offers financial support to farmers who wish to invest in solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on their agricultural holdings.
This scheme helps farmers reduce energy costs by generating renewable electricity on-site and supports Ireland’s sustainability goals. The grant provides up to 60% of the eligible costs, with a maximum investment ceiling of €90,000 per holding.
To be eligible, farmers must have at least 5 hectares of land or generate a minimum of 20 production units. The grant covers various expenses, including the installation of solar panels and associated infrastructure, with all investments required to be completed within 12 months of approval.
